Spring is quickly approaching and we adjust our clocks ahead for daylight savings this weekend. Now is the time to prepare your homes’ yard for the upcoming growing season. The winter weather can create an array of problems but American Landscaping Inc. can take care of them for you.
Raking – Our crews can remove all the leftover leaves, branches, pine needles and accumulated debris.
Trimming – Bushes and trees can be pruned to remove dead branches and shoots. Cut back perennials and ornamental grasses before new growth emerges.
Flower Beds – Crews will remove all debris and prepare flower beds. Crews will edge all beds and lay fresh mulch to help prevent weed growth and ensure a healthy environment for your plants and flowers.
Lawn Care – Now is the time to prepare damaged lawn areas for spring seeding. Soil tests can be performed to understand the pH levels for later enrichment. Reminder: if you want to seed you will not be able to apply regular pre-emergent crabgrass control. Only Tupersan crabgrass control can be used when seeding. If you will not be seeding this spring now is the time to apply your crabgrass pre-emergent control and fertilizer to your lawn. Contractors that fertilize are required to carry a Professional Fertilizer License and do a soil analysis of your lawn prior to applying fertilizer. American Landscaping Inc. is licensed. Our license number is MDA F-0877
Patios and Walkways – Now is the time to neaten up hardscape surfaces from the harsh winter months. Crews will fix aggregated walkways and patios and add more gravel to all depressions. Flagstone and paved areas should be swept and new stone dust or sand applied to prevent loose areas. A good pressure washing to remove any dirt, stains, and mildew.
The above items are just some of the items that may need to be addressed to prepare for the new season. We are a full-service landscape company serving both residential and commercial customers.
